Looking for some new ways to enjoy your favorite barbecue sauce? Try these three easy recipes that will help you savor every last bite of the summer, no grilling required.
So...BBQ remoulade. I know, I know - what the heck is a remoulade? It's a French cold sauce you can use as a condiment or dip, similar to a tartar sauce...just with an extra fancy French name. With a BBQ twist, this recipe is perfect for cold chicken sandwiches, to dip your fries in, dollop on crab cakes, or with poached shrimp.
Barbecue Remoulade
Ingredients
1/2 cup mayonaise
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
2 Tbsp. dill pickle relish
2 Tbsp. fresh chives, chopped
1 Tbsp. capers, chopped
1 Tbsp. coarse-grain Dijon mustard
Instructions
Add all ingredients in a bowl; stir well to combine.
Barbecue sauce on the main dish is expected. Sneaking it into a side dish will surprise tastebuds. This potato salad recipe has a tangy bite plus the creaminess you come to expect from more traditional recipes.
Barbecue Potato Salad
Ingredients
3 lbs. Yukon Gold potatoes (for firm, but creamy-textured bites)
3/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup mayonaise
1 Tbsp. coarse-grain mustard
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 "toothpick" Black Pepper Vitality essential oil
2/3 cup sliced scallions
4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
Instructions
Boil the potatoes until tender; drain.
While the potatoes cool to room temp, combine BBQ sauce, mayo, mustard, and salt into a large glass, ceramic, or stainless steel bowl. Remove Pepper Vitality bottle orifice reducer cap and dip toothpick into oil, then swirling it into mixed sauce.
Once cooled, cube potatoes into bite-size pieces.
Toss potatoes, scallions, and bacon crumbles in sauce until combined and potatoes are well covered.
Skip the potato chips and snack on these instead. Pecan nuts contain monounsaturated fats such as oleic acid along with phenolic antioxidants to support a healthy heart. Plus, they support healthy weight management and happy skin. With twice as much protein as their potato chip counterpart, this snack will keep you satisfied longer, too!

Move pecans onto 2 rimmed, parchment-lined baking sheets, arranging evenly.
