You can drink it hot, chilled, or over ice; many like to enjoy it warm as a comforting before-bed nightcap. This recipe makes two 8-ounce servings, so share the love or save the rest in a glass jar for later.
Ingredients
1 cup coconut water
1 cup almond milk or other milk of choice
1 Tbsp. fresh grated turmeric - or - sub 1 tsp. ground
1 Tbsp. fresh grated ginger - or - sub 2 drops Ginger Vitality essential oil or 1 tsp. ground
2 tsp. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract or vanilla bean powder
4 drops Cinnamon Bark Vitality essential oil
1-2 drops Black Pepper Vitality essential oil
Simply blend the ingredients in a blender on high or hand whisk like a madwoman or madman!
If the spicy flavor is too strong at first, try making the full recipe and pouring a little of it at a time into your favorite milk, adding more each day you drink it until you can work your way up to the undiluted recipe.
