Let's chat about erasing wrinkles this summer, even when we're spending time in the sun.
According to WebMD, the leading cause of wrinkles is….SUN EXPOSURE. This accounts for 90% of premature skin aging!
It wasn’t until the late 1940s when society decided that tanned skin made them look healthier. Since then, the tan look was considered socially acceptable. So, how’s a girl (or guy) supposed to keep wrinkles away and still enjoy that summer fun?
Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day or half of your body weight in ounces. As we age our skin becomes thinner and drier. So, drink plenty of water to keep the skin hydrated. Remember to add in Vitality Drops or oils to change up the flavor and add extra health benefits.
Wear sunscreen. But make it a toxin-free one! So many sunscreens out there are contributing to the cause of skin cancer rather than protecting us from it, not to mention they're adding to the destruction of coral reefs from all the tourists swimming their screen off in the ocean.
